It is true, Android phones just keep increasing. Marked by huge sales beating iPhone in the market by a good 8% Android sure has attracted a lot of attention. One of the newest phones to be released by HTC in Q3 is the HTC Wildfire.
The specs are impressive, with a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen with accelerometer support, an optical trackpad which helps in navigation of the device, a 5 mega pixel autofocus camera with LED flash and a digital compass with a light sensor to adjust the screen’s brightness automatically. The phone also is packed with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, HSDPA support and microUSB ports for data mobility.
Loaded with Android OS 2.1, the HTC Wildfire is surely going head on with Microsoft Kin and the upcoming iPhone 4G.
The phone itself is equipped physically with a 512MB ROM and a 384MB RAM for faster data access to the processor while the processor itself is clocked at 528MHz.
The phone has been priced by T-mobile at £20 ($29) per month and will be available by June 14th. Other nations to follow in Q3.
