It is being reported that the new T-Mobile G2 smart phone will feature the latest version of Google’s Android OS - the Android 2.2 also called Froyo. The T-Mobile G2 is set to go on sale pretty soon however details of the exact launch date are yet to be known.
The T-Mobile G2 is also being rumored to have the basic standard version of the Android 2.2 OS instead of a more customized version. T-Mobile claims that the G2 will offer its users the “fastest smart phone experience in America”. The G2 runs a 800MHz MSM7x30 processor and might use the fast HSPA+ network that T-Mobile has to offer.
The phone is expected to sell for $200 with a contract. No release dates are given yet.
