Lead the Trends - Follow us on Twitter and Facebook to stay updated

Techcrunch today reported that Google was in the process of acquiring the movie recommendation site fflick for about $10 million. It was indicated that Google was keen at hiring some of the talent behind this startup company and buying it out was one way of doing that.

Fflick is a site that allows you to sing in with your twitter account and shows a list of top-ranking movie. Next to every film is a set of relevant tweets from people you follow. You have more options such as browse by sentiment, viewing a stream of positive or negative tweets about each movie.

Four former Digg employees found fflick and intended to expand its sentiment technology to many sectors while movies were just the beginning.
