Finally after months of rumors, Verizon iPhone is finally here. Today the President and Chief Operating Officer Lowell Macadam announced the partnership with Apple to bring the Apple iPhone to the CDMA network. He said, “Our relationship with Apple has developed over the last two years. In 2008 we started talking about bringing the iPhone to a CDMA network. We spent a year testing.”

This also marks the release of the very first CDMA iPhone in the world. The Verizon iPhone 4 will be available early February 2011. It was interesting to note that Steve Jobs wasn’t there to announce the iPhone 4 on Verizon. The CDMA iPhone 4 will have features like Facetime available without Wi-Fi.

The hardware is still the same with the iPhone having a 5MP camera for HD video and running a A4 processor and a Retina display. The Verizon iPhone will go on sale at $199.99 for the 16GB model, and $299.99 for the 32GB model with a new 2 year agreement and compatible data plan. There is also a mobile hotspot option that allows up to five devices to connect to it. You can pre-order the iPhone on February 3 and purchase the device on February 10, 2011. Verizon is also offering the White iPhone for sale on their online store.
