We had reported yesterday about that annoying 2$ convenience fee from Verizon for paying your bill using your mobile phone. Today Verizon caught the attention of the FCC with that announcement and dropped that decision. This only shows how these monopolizing tele firms are at will to increase few as they wish!

In a press release posted today, Verizon said it hadley customer complaints and feedback about the charge. “At Verizon, we take great care to listen to our customers. Based on their input, we believe the best path forward is to encourage customers to take advantage of the best and most efficient options, eliminating the need to institute the fee at this time,” said Dan Mead, president and chief executive officer of Verizon Wireless in a statement.

That obviously is a big lie clearly they lacked the intelligence to predict this despite being worth billions. The truth is in order to avoid the potential head ache that FCC would cause, Verizon dropped the charge.

It is a well known fact tht you are per paying for your phone and charges on top of your bill is the worst idea ever.
