It is well known that Apple recently published its app store submission guidelines which lets developers see exactly what the rules are to get an app published on the app store. However CultofMac today reported that Apple has banned a new app from appearing in the app store. The app is an Android Magazine created by a Danish Publisher.
The app covered and reported news on Android devices to which Apple did not approve. In a conversation with Apple’s rep who approves apps for the App store, the publisher was told that since the App gave exclusive news about Android products, Apple cannot have it in its app store.
It is unusal for Apple to do so, considering that it has started to allow Skype and Google Voice apps to appear on the App store. If there are two sides to this story is an unknown fact.
