Nokia has today announced that it expects some disruptions to its supply of new mobile phones and other products due to the events in Japan. Nokia said that the disruption was due to the ability of its firms in Japan to keep up with delayed shipments and lack of other resources needed to keep the production at pace. The shortage of raw materials due to massive relief effort has also caused some problems to the Finnish phone maker.

Nokia has not given any specific time or date as to when the production will continue at its full pace. However Nokia also said that it does not expect that this will impact its Q1 2011 results and is foreseeing strong growth ahead.
