Macrumors today released a screenshot of the upcoming iCloud storage service from Apple that shows that if you were to reach 5GB storage limit on the service, your email will get choked out. If the storage cap is reached, users stop receiving their email at their me.com address and anything sent to them is bounced bad to the sender.

Critics say that this is not surprising since Apple is fair to do so. Its not that just email that is blocked –  device backups will also cease until space is cleared. There is no official announcement from Apple yet about this but it is certain that there will be pricing tiers built around the limits.

Apple’s another solution would be to route email outside teh 5GB box.
