Now Harley riders can ride in style with their big beauties loaded with the iPhone/iPod Touch dock! The iPhone/iPod Touch dock called the DashLink replaces the stock fuel tank console of your Harley-Davidson with an integrated dock that securely holds your iPhone or iPod Touch and also charging it at the same time. It lets you access to music while you ride and also can be used to run a GPS application and maps.
The dock hides all the wiring and connectivity behind itself to give it a clean look and a great add-on to your bike. DashLink also features a line-level audio output for integration with the bike’s existing sound system. DashLink was designed by Hell’s Foundry equips a smart charging system that detects whether your iPhone is installed. When no device is present, it conserves power.
The DashLink is available in chrome, gloss black, and carbon fiber and can be fit onto the 1996 and newer Harley-Davidson FLHT/FLTR and FLHR models. Hell’s Foundry says versions for Sportster, Softail, and Dyna versions will be available soon. The DashLink is available for preorder at US$400 and shipments expected in January 2011.
