Thanks to Technology? A Colorado company claims to have developed a line of new sodas that have marijuana as its ingredient! Dixie Elixirs, the soda company said that their drinks were available to anyone with a prescription for medical marijuana.
Dixie offers the drinks in eight different flavors which include pink lemonade, root beer and grape. Marijuana is only legal in 14 states with a prescription from a doctor. The drink makers said that they wanted to get rid of the “reefer-madness” stigma associated with marijuana smokers.
There is a vote in California to legalize marijuana in November. If the vote goes through, you might see this drink in stores for off-the-shelf purchase.
