This had to happen! Playboy yesterday announced that an uncensored version of the famous magazine will be available on the iPad. However Steve Jobs has enforced a ban on anything adult on the iPad. But a tweet from Playboy founder Hue Hefner read, “Big news! Playboy–both old & new–will be available on iPad beginning in March”.
In an interview with MSN, Playboy spokesperson said that Playboy was releasing a web-based subscription service to give users access to every issue of Playboy both past and present. The service will be iPad compatible. Playboy will also be coming out with a non-nude version of the Playboy iPad app in the coming months that will stick to Apple’s policies. Clearly Hue was misinformed.
