Samsung has had some good success this year thanks to its Galaxy Tab. Today Samsung announced that its app store just crossed 1 million downloads. There are just over 200 apps in the store which is few when compared to the Apple store. But 1 million downloads of those 200 apps is quite impressive.
The samsung app store has been up for an year and is also accessible on its 2010 HDTVs. Samsung is investing heavily in smart TVs and said that it expects to be selling about 6.5 million by the end of year and about 20 million in 2012.
