Is the iPad killer really doing it? Samsung today in a statement said that they had sold more than 600,000 Galaxy Tab within the first month of it being in sale! This is quite good considering other competitors of Apple. These numbers effectively make Galaxy Tab the most popular Android based tablet pc in the world.
Samsung was heard saying that they were very pleased with the results of the first month of the tablet being on sale. Samsung also said that in many Asian markets, the demand outweighed the supply and they had to hold back customers. While iPad is getting ready to launch in Korea with 40,000 pre-orders already with it, Galaxy Tab interestingly has sold 30,000 in the first week.
Samsung might also be targetting markets where iPad is much awaited to tap into those frustrated users who would give up on iPads delays and give into the Galaxy Tab.
