After almost a month and a half of downtime, Sony’s playstation network is reported to be coming back up this week. Sony is still however working to win the trust of its customers following the massive hack in April that leaked user info and credit card information as well. More than 100 million accounts were exposed.

Sony already started advertising which are also a clear indication that they are trying to warm up the gaming community for the big opening. Sony’s PSN blog also stated that full PSN service will be restored for all regions except Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea.

Qriocity service will also be restored with limited access. Kaz Hirai from Sony said, “We have been conducting additional testing and further security verification of our commerce functions in order to bring the PlayStation Network completely back online so that our fans can again enjoy the first class entertainment experience they have come to love”.

Well lets hope they don’t get hacked into again.
