This is exciting, an inventor designed an Emergency Bra that can be used instantly to help people breathe better during emergencies. Inventor Dr. Elena Bodnar designed this bra which has a protective device that transforms the bra into a two respiratory pace masks to filter out harmful airborne particles that may occur. The bra protects its user against a range of incidents that include gasses that are released by fire, explosion, terrorist, radiological, biological attack, and natural disasters.
Dr. Bodnar said, “I realized that most people don’t generally carry around respiratory devices in case of such events were to occur”. The bra was perfect to integrate her invention considering majority of women wear a bra every day. More features were added to this bra which include shoulder straps, flex inserts and an inner liner which has the filter that can filter the air for the user to breathe.
The Ig Nobel Prize was awarded to Dr. Bodnar last year. The prize is awarded to inventions that are useful but hilarious. Dr. Bodnar said, “isn’t it wonderful that women have two breasts, not just one? We can save not only our own life, but also the life of a man of our choice next to us.”
