Blackberry is keeping up with the iPhones and the Androids at a faster pace than we thought. The new Blackberry slider 9800 is packed with a lot of features in a sleak looking touch screen with a keyboard.
Interesting to note that this phone is equiped with a keyboard while RIM, the makers of BlackBerry had always had touch screen phones.
The new Blackberry Bold 9800 is packed with a 3 inch capacitive touch screen, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 5-megapixel camera, 4GB storage with a microSD slod, 512 MB RAM, Bluetooth and WiFi all powered by a 1GHz processor. The phone is also loaded with the new BlackBerry OS 6.0.
One of the software features of the new OS is a much more responsive media player which includes full album art. It is also equipped with the accelerometer.
The phone is rumoured to be out sometime in June and will be brought to you by AT&T.
This is another very nice BB product … I really hope that this one will make it’s way to Austrian dealers. We are still waiting for the BB Storm II to arrive!
