Blackberry-dakotaSome info about the upcoming BlackBerry Dakota was out today by Boy Genius Report. The phone is poised to get a capacitive touchscreen along with more memory and storage. The phone will also have a full physical QWERTY keyboard with a 2.8 inch VGA capacitive touchscreen.

The BlackBerry Dakota will also have 768MB of RAM and 4GB of storage in its 0.4-inch thick body along with the standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile hotspot support. It will run on the BlackBerry OS 6.1 and work with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as 3G networks and has a magnetometer, acclerometer, and proximity sensor.

It will also have a 5 megapixel camera with flash and will also record HD video. However there is no front facing camera so no video chat can be expected with it.
