ArsTechnica posted the unboxing pictures of Google’s Chrome OS Netbook. The netbook called Cr-48 Chrome OS notebook is Google’s entry into the OS world.
After turning on the Chrome OS Netbook, one will notice that the web is very fast. For an Atom based laptop, its speeds and performance were extremely fast. Even a few flash games were reported to have worked great.
The netbook clains to have a battery life of 8 hours which is truly remarkable. The unit itself is very light and handy. It also comes with a webcam and a large trackpad. However there remained a few flaws. The Cr-48 has a poor quality LCD screen. Also Google for some unknown reason decided to put in a VGA port instead of an HDMI port.
