Now Best Buy is actually offering value add on services which include updating your new PlayStation 3 system for an additional $30. These new boxes have actually been opened, hooked to a TV, updated and repacked – all this for the above said price.
Many corporate giants have not been happy about selling consoles because of their low-margin gains and now these “add on services” are just a way for them to make an extra buck on that unsuspecting customer.
With the high frequency of PS3 updates released by Sony it won’t be long before you actually will have to update your PS3 after buying it already updated from Best Buy!
