viewsonic-viewpaddFinally, ViewSonic’s ViewPad 7 is shipping. Amazon.com has been advertising ViewSonic’s ViewPad 7 for pre-order for $599. Over time the price was dropped to $479.  And now the price dropped further to $429 while Amazon is yet to ship the tablet. However ExcaliberPC is shipping the ViewPad 7 for $479.

ViewPad 7 is powered by an ARM11 600MHz processor, 7″ 1024 x 600 capacitive multi-touch display, 512MB flash memory, MicroSD card slot for storage, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, 3G and A-GPS, 4-6 hour battery life and Android 2.2
